VegTrug Cold Frame for Medium 1.8m Classic Wooden Raised Planter - Grey Wash

Suits the Medium 1.8m VegTrug Classic Planter (not suitable for Wall-hugger model)

The VegTrug cold frame has been designed to convert a 1.8m Medium VegTrug Classic Timber Raised Planter into a raised cold frame unit to achieve premium growing conditions. This is great for protecting young plants & seedlings from late spring frosts, or to grow lettuce & strawberries under. 

The cold frame will increase the rate of growth as a result of warmer temperatures inside. It can also be used to protect plants over the winter months. The lid can be opened to allow for aeration or it can be opened fully for easy access to the plants during watering.

It has a wooden frame & 3.5mm double insulation polycarbonate.
